Common Questions about Coppa, and Their Answers

We take seriously the Children’s Online Privacy and Protection Act (COPPA) and are in strict compliance with its terms. The gist is we will never share email addresses from anyone in your family.

Who might get info about your child from our site?

Our company, Ripple Effects, 1601 Harbor Bay Parkway, Suite 105, Alameda, CA 94502, , is the only organization that has the potential to collect information about your child through our website. We don’t share it with a third party. We are the ones to contact if you have questions about our privacy policy. Use the “Ask Your Question” button below right.

What kind of info might we collect?

As the Bouncy community evolves, children may be invited to upload pictures of their dogs, their prosthetics or other images related to our program. You will need to unlock an adult gate before they can do so. At this time, we are not allowing children’s photograph’s to be uploaded to our site, even with parent permission. We will soon allow children to ask questions in their own voices, so they can hear their questions being answered, without needing to read. They will need your express help to use the recording software. We will not tie your child’s voice to any other information about her or him except a first name. We do not want, and urge you not to ALLOW, your child to use her or his real name in any communication with our site.

How will we use your child’s information?

We will post questions and pictures your child sends us on our website, so other children can see them.

As a parent you can review your child’s personal information, ask to have it deleted and refuse to allow any further collection or use of it. Just notify us using the “Ask Your Question” button to the right.
